Description
This session prepares educators to coach students who advance beyond the classroom and essay portions of the National Civics Bee. Participants will explore strategies for preparing students for quiz rounds, responding effectively to judges' questions, defending civic arguments, and communicating ideas with clarity and confidence. The session will also consider how teachers can help students extend their civic learning beyond the competition through continued community engagement and the development of a lasting civic identity.
