ABOUT THE IN-PERSON WORKSHOP

Discover the first-year establishment of a 4.5-acre meadow at Penn State Beaver and gain practical insights into converting turf into native meadow habitat. Through on-the-ground examples, participants will explore the successes and challenges of a large-scale meadow installation while learning about planning, site preparation, seeding, and early management. Meadow establishment experts will share lessons learned and answer questions to help participants apply proven practices to their own meadow projects.
