Threat Modeling Workshop

Hosted by one of ISE’s Executive Partners, Ted Harrington, the Threat Modeling Workshop will transform the way you think about security and will learn the actionable steps to enhance the security posture of your organizations. Through a combination of hands-on exercises and instructional insights, attendees will explore:

• Defining different kinds of assets to an organization
•  How to assess risks based on impact to assets
• Identifying threat actors and attack motivations from several perspectives, including adversaries and motivations that most people do not consider
• Understanding what an attack surface is in order to identify potential areas for exploitation and security testing

By the end of the workshop, attendees will leave knowing:

•  What threat modeling is and how it is critical for a successful security strategy
• How to build, update, and optimize a threat model as the landscape changes

Practical ways to implement threat modeling into your organization, including how to use it for future security decisions, including selecting proper testing methodologies, developing security controls, resource management and other benefits from a robust threat model.
