This year's Conference theme, "ONWARD", embodies the spirit of The Alliance in 2026: steadfast in our legacy, empowered through our leadership, and united in the charge to build Black equity, excellence, and opportunity. From every stride made to every system challenged, we continue the journey with clarity, conviction, and unity. 

In a city like New Orleans, where rhythm meets resilience, we gather to celebrate who we are and shape what’s next. Together, we move onward.

As systems shift and economic justice faces renewed scrutiny, the responsibility before us grows clearer. The charge is not to retreat, but to lead with conviction.

Why New Orleans?

New Orleans is rich in character, history, and culture. It also embodies many of the reasons the Alliance and its members do what we do. The New Orleans MSA of more than 1 million people, has persistently faced economic disparity and environmental challenges. Hosting our annual conference in the city will give local members the opportunity to showcase the issues faced by many CDFIs across the nation and provide inspirational context for the developmental sessions offered during the conference.
