Three Powerful Gatherings

The Fanconi Cancer Foundation (FCF) is committed to promoting collaboration between the research community and adults with FA. Together, we will share the latest research, elevate lived experience, and strengthen the collaborations that help advance progress for people living with FA.

About the Scientific Symposium

The Scientific Symposium brings together leading and emerging researchers and clinicians to share the latest discoveries in FA biology, cancer research, and clinical care. Through presentations and discussion, participants exchange ideas that help accelerate progress.

About the EL-PFDD

The Externally Led Patient-Focused Drug Development (EL-PFDD) meeting centers the voices of individuals with FA and caregivers. Participants share their experiences directly with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and other stakeholders, helping ensure lived experience informs future treatment development.

About the Retreat for Adults with FA

The FA Adult Retreat offers individuals with FA ages 18 and older an opportunity to connect with peers, learn about the latest research and medical updates, and take part in supportive conversations about navigating adulthood with FA. Dedicated sessions also provide resources and support for caregivers.

The 2026 Scientific Symposium will be an in-person only experience this year.

The Adult Retreat will be an in-person only experience, except for the EL-PFDD meeting. The EL-PFDD will offer hybrid (in-person or virtual) attendance to allow access for those who are unable to attend the full Adult Retreat in-person.
