Individuals who have a deep and personal connection to an Indigenous community of the Americas or the historically United States-affiliated Pacific and who are engaged in scholarship focused on the language(s) of that community are eligible for complimentary registration.

Cancellation Policy

Registration refund requests must be submitted via email to meetings@lsadc.org. The deadline for requesting a refund is December 1, 2026. Requests received on or before the deadline will be issued, less a 20% administrative fee. Requests received after December 1 may not be honored.

LSA Sister Societies

NARNiHS and ANS are Sister Societies presenting a series of sessions at the 2027 LSA Annual Meeting. Members of these Sister Societies who wish to participate in the LSA Annual Meeting must register and pay for registration for the LSA Meeting and will receive the LSA member rate on their LSA registration. NARNiHS & ANS members are also eligible for the LSA-negotiated rate on the hotel room block.

ADS, NAAHoLS, and SPCL are Sister Societies holding meetings in conjunction with LSA and registration for each Sister Society Annual Meetings is managed by the Linguistic Society of America. Sister Society members who wish to participate in the Sister Society Annual Meeting must register and pay for registration for the LSA Meeting as well as any additional registration fees for the Sister Society meeting. All Sister Society members receive the LSA member rate on their LSA registration. Those Sister Society members wishing to attend catered events at the Sister Society meeting must pay the associated additional event fee, to be collected by the LSA on behalf of the Sister Society. Those wishing to register on-site for the in-person meeting will be expected to pay the full amount owed in order to receive a badge for entry to Sister Society catered events.
