Newly Diagnosed Families Program 

PPMD is pleased to offer a dedicated support program throughout our 2026 Annual Conference for families who have received a diagnosis of Duchenne or Becker after January 2022.

Newly Diagnosed Families Program includes:

  • Support meeting on Wednesday, June 24th for any newly diagnosed family members
    • Free childcare offered during this time
  • Conference wrap-up session on Saturday, June 27th
  • Dedicated mentor family throughout conference
  • Newly diagnosed educational materials
  • Waived conference registration fee for 2 adults for qualifying families
  • Opportunity for additional travel assistance*

If you/your child was diagnosed before January 2022 but it is your first time at PPMD’s conference, there are additional opportunities for dedicated support and mentors. Please indicate your interest in this on your conference registration.
