Course Description
This course focuses on the extension of the tooth life cycle. Participants will learn the benefits of reviewing Remaining Dentin Thickness (RDT) and current endodontic restorative trends/ techniques that preserve long-term success of the tooth. The goal of this course is to reinforce the value of combining Endo/Resto and the need to retain Pericervical Dentin and the establishment of a “TruFerrule”.
Course Objectives:
- Diagnose and Treatment plan Endo/Resto procedures with confidence.
- Discuss endodontic therapy including pre-endodontic restorations, access, dentin preservation, locating and instrumenting canals.
- Provide clear guidelines for when a post is needed and determining the placement of direct vs. indirect restorations.
- Incorporate modern irrigation principles into their endodontic treatment protocols.
- Explain why single visit Endo/Resto is preferred and when it is not an option.
- Describe how technology can change endodontic outcomes.
- Disseminate advancements in the field.
