BOC offers live technical webinars throughout the year that explore smart buildings systems and keep participants informed about the latest best practices, trends, and technologies that help save energy and run facilities at optimal efficiency.
In 2026, the BOC program is joining forces with the Smart Buildings Center's Smart Buildings Exchange (SBX) to offer the rebranded "SBC Plus Technical Webinar Series" providing a deeper base of expertise and topics to meet the evolving needs of building operators and other facilities professionals.
Throughout the 2026 series, industry experts will share insights on topics such as thermal energy networks as a driver for building decarbonization, fault detection and other diagnostic tools for identify energy savings, efficient energy management with ISO 50001, retrocommissioning as a tool for compliance with building performance standards, and cybersecurity for smart buildings. Successful completion of each webinar and the accompanying quiz provides 1.5 points towards maintaining a Building Operator Certification (BOC) Credential and .15 IACET CEU's towards the renewal of other industry certifications, certificates and licenses.
