Compliance Management: Building a Hall of Fame Program

In this session Jeff Thompson, Vice President, Managing Consultant - Compliance at UBB will explore how banks with strong compliance programs build their compliance team and integrate them into the overall banking team. Jeff will explore the role of the Board and Senior Management (ownership and coaching staff), the various lines of defense banks deploy for protection, and the means by which performance is constantly evaluated by the coaching staff and others.

BankValue Update

Mike Klinger, UBB's Vice President, BankValue Manager, will walk through regional performance trends along with specific trends in the state of Ohio. Additionally, he will review how banks overall have been preforming over the last several years as banks have faced a challenging interest rate environment. Mike will also be discussing how a bank’s size impacts certain performance metrics. Finally, he will review merger and acquisition activity, which will include pricing and deal information over the last several years.
