PRE-CONFERENCE WET LABS: VOLUNTEER DOGS NEEDED

Several dogs are required for the pre-conference POCUS wet labs taking place Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, at UCVM Spy Hill Campus.

If you would like to volunteer your dog, please submit a completed Non-UCVM-owned Animals Consent Form and a PDF copy of current vaccination records to canwestinfo@abvma.ca by Sept. 18, 2026. 

Dogs must:

• Weigh under 25 kg
• Be in good health with minimal or no medical issues
• Have a calm, well-mannered temperament
• Be up to date on core vaccines
• Not be in heat at the time of participation

As a thank you, volunteers will receive either a $50 credit toward their CanWest registration fee or a $50 gift card of their choice per volunteer animal.
