The Health Physics Statistics Online Training course introduces participants to the use of statistics in operational health physics. Core concepts such as probability distributions, descriptive statistics, and hypotheses testing are included to support more detailed instruction on uncertainty propagation and statistical tests.
It is self-paced and can be completed as time allows. To complete the course, you will be required to pass an exam. A passing score is 70 out of 100. You will have three attempts to successfully complete the exam. A certificate of completion will be provided upon successful completion of the exam. Course materials are available on the ORAU PTP Learning Management System (LMS).
PTP instructors will be available via email, phone, or Microsoft Teams to answer questions and provide assistance when needed.
