COURSE DESCRIPTION
In today’s world, patients and clinicians want things to be done as quickly and efficiently as possible. For single-tooth replacement, this can be accomplished by utilizing the latest digital tools to help us treatment plan and execute both surgical and prosthetic implant treatment. This course will review how a new solution can streamline the implant workflow in single-tooth replacement cases. The concept involves combining intraoral scans with CBCT data to accurately diagnose and treatment plan dental implants as well as facilitate production of custom healing abutments and temporary/final restorations. Please join us to learn about the efficiency and simplicity of placing and restoring implants utilizing the latest digital innovations.
At the completion of this course participants will be able to:
- Understand the importance of treatment planning and the use of CBCT data and scan data in implant planning.
- Understand the simplified planning and approval of implant position, custom healing abutment contour, temporary/final abutment contour and temporary contour
- Understand the importance of early tissue training
- Understand the indications for a custom healing abutment vs. immediate temporization
- Understand the use of a digital core file to design and mill the final crown
- Understand the benefits of screw-retained restorations with angulated screw access
