
Schusterman Literacy Lab: Lessons from District Implementation
Schusterman is launching a new learning opportunity for Black & Latino Educator grantees whose work focuses on preparing, developing, or supporting teachers and school leaders. Through a four-part virtual series beginning in August 2026, participants will engage with emerging learning from Schusterman's K–8 literacy work in school districts and explore implications for teacher preparation, leadership development, coaching, and professional learning.
The four webinars will take place at the following times:
- Session 1: Schusterman’s K–8 Literacy Vision & District Learning Agenda: August 19 1-2pm CT
- Session 2: Leveraging HQIM for Robust Reading Comprehension: September 16 1-2pm CT
- Session 3: Bridging the Divide: Connecting Word Recognition and Language Comprehension in Early Literacy: October 28 1-2pm CT
- Session 4: Prioritized Practices for Multilingual Learners: November 18 1-2pm CT
