Description
This workshop series presents a practical, evidence-based approach to integrating biopsy and localisation into a single-step clinical procedure, supporting a streamlined patient pathway through localisation placement at the time of biopsy.
It features four expert-led sessions, each combining a 15-minute lecture with 30 minutes of hands-on training to help participants translate clinical concepts into practice.
Through clinical insights, real-world experience, and practical demonstrations, the workshop supports the adoption of more efficient, streamlined, and patient-centric breast care workflows.
Learning Objectives
· Evaluate the clinical rationale and supporting evidence for integrating biopsy and localisation into a single-step workflow.
· Analyse key technical factors influencing accurate accurate localisation device placement at the time of biopsy across different imaging modalities.
· Integrate a one-step procedural approach into clinical practice to optimise workflow efficiency and patient management.
