Course Description

This course offers an extensive look into the principles and characteristics of extruded feed, pet food and aqua feed processing, as well as support systems for effective processing 4.5-day short course with leading instructors from around the world.

Learning Objectives

Attendees will:

  • understand principles and characteristics of extruders and support systems for effective selection and operation.
  • review current practices for preparation of extruded feed, pet food and aqua feeds
  • describe practical aspects of feeds extrusion
  • examine ingredients for extruded feed, pet food and aqua feed

REGISTRATION:

The registration fee for the short course includes a light breakfast, lunch, and refreshments at breaks, a short course eBook manual, and certificates of completion. Registration fees are not refundable, but substitute personnel may be sent by the same firm. Space is limited; therefore, applications will be accepted on a first come, first-served basis.

SHORT COURSE CONDUCT:

All short course sessions will be informal.   Questions are encouraged during the lectures, breaks, and social periods. Laptops are allowed in the classroom to follow the presentations in the short course eBook manual. Rights to cancel this course with refund, to deny service, to substitute speakers, and to change schedules, as necessary to expedite the course, are reserved. Texas A&M University System policy does not allow inclusion of alcoholic beverages in registration fees.

  • $1,495.00 in-person and live-online per course registration (non-refundable)
    • Early Bird Rate - Register by January 11, 2026, 11:59 p.m. (CT)
    • After January 11, 2026 the registration fee will increase by $100
  • A 10% discount is available if three or more individuals from the same organization register for the course
  • Credit Card or Electronic Check - Please have payment ready to apply during registration.
  • Request Approval for Invoicing / Wire Transfer 
  • Payment for the course must be received prior to the course start date.
  • Please note that if you plan to apply payment via a wire transfer, a standard $30 fee will apply.
