Classes via Zoom
Information for classes delivered via Zoom:
- Students are expected to attend each class via Zoom, at the designated time.
- Students are expected to participate on each class date from a quiet, interruption-free, location that allows for online interaction with other participants.
- Course requires completion and online submission of five in-facility project assignments. These hands-on activities are to be completed at your facility and are designed to allow you to apply the material you’re learning.
- Course requires completion of an open-book test at the end of each class day. All participants will take the test using an online format. A URL, username and password will be provided to all participants. An instructor evaluation for each day will also be provided using the same online platform. In order to earn your credential, you must pass each test with a score of 70% or higher and complete the evaluation for each class.
- Students must have access to a laptop, tablet, or desktop that supports high speed audio/video streaming. A microphone or telephone is required. A camera is strongly recommended.
- Students are expected to actively participate in class. Peer to peer exchange is a hallmark of BOC courses and increases understanding and retention of the concepts presented.
