Course description

This interactive, interdisciplinary CE lecture brings together pediatric endocrinology and optometry to explore the relationship between endocrine disorders and ocular health in children. Through a conversational, case-based discussion, speakers will examine how conditions such as diabetes and thyroid dysfunction affect the eyes, highlighting key clinical findings, diagnostic considerations, and the latest evidence-based approaches to treatment and management. Emphasis will be placed on practical clinical insights, early recognition of ocular complications, and collaborative care to optimize outcomes for pediatric patients.
