Celebrate America 250 Through the Art of Medical Illustration

Join The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and the Health Sciences Library (HSL) for Art for Science: The Birth of Medical Illustration in America, a special lecture delivered by Anthony S. Baker, CMI, FAMI, certified medical illustrator for the HSL’s Medical Visuals department. This lecture is part of Ohio State’s America 250 celebrations. 

Did you know the formal profession of medical illustration was born in the United States? This lecture will explore the fascinating history of early American physicians and the visionary artists they employed, while highlighting medical illustration’s special connection to The Ohio State University.
