Nominate a business in your community who exemplifies innovation, leadership, and impact TODAY! Businesses can self-nominate or be nominated by a local chamber or community member.

  • Two grants available.
  • Recognition at a premier business event.
  • A chance to showcase your business on a statewide platform.

Applications are due by 11:59 PM on May  8, 2026.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Businesses defined as ‘Small Business’ per California Government Code Section 14837.

  • Independently owned and operated business. 
  • Principal office and officers must be in California. 
  • 100 or fewer employees. 
  • Average annual gross receipts of 15 million dollars or less over the previous three years. 

You must be able to attend the California Business Outlook Dinner event on June 10, 2026 in Sacramento.

HOW TO APPLY?

Applicants must complete the online application. Click here to access the application.

Before submitting your application, please review the following to ensure our judges have access to all aspects of your application and supporting documents: 

  • Make sure all required fields of the form are accurate, a copy of your submission will be added to any supporting documents you upload. 
  • Best Practice: Combine your supporting documents on a PDF file.
  • When sending supporting documents, please be mindful of the size of documents and consider the following: 
    • Under 10 MB, email the application to this email. Please ensure the subject line and all documents include your business name and document name, for example: ABC, LLC - Supporting Documents.
    • Over 10MB, we require you to upload your documents to this folder. Please follow the same requirement for name stated above. 
  • Another alternative is share with us your own Dropbox or google drive folder, with the appropriate permissions to download files, "Anyone with the link can access".
