Zimmer Biomet trains and educates healthcare professionals on the safe and effective use of our products and services and topics directly related to or associated with the safe and effective use of our products and services, in particular through the Zimmer Biomet Institute. We seek to promote and provide continuing medical educational opportunities for healthcare professionals through programs focused on four stages of learning: knowledge acquisition, skill development, skill enhancement, and mastery.

 

Based on our understanding of your educational needs, Zimmer Biomet has invited you to attend Zimmer Biomet Institute’s ANZ - Zimmer Biomet SESA Side Event (Event). The Event is aimed at raising the standard of patient care and advancing the surgical skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals. 

 

Should you accept the invitation, Zimmer Biomet will make arrangements which may include hotel accommodation (single occupancy standard room), round trip economy air travel, ground transfers, and meals (in accordance with Zimmer Biomet policy) in relation to the Event. Zimmer Biomet will only cover travel expenses organized by the company for a direct itinerary to and from your point of origin and the location of the Event.

 

At the time of the Event, you must register at the location site to confirm your attendance. 

 

By attending the Event, you confirm that you have obtained all necessary approvals from your employer to attend the Event and confirm that your attendance at the Event and any related expenses paid for by Zimmer Biomet are not based on, or related to, the past, present, or future purchase of Zimmer Biomet products, instruments, or services by you.

 

By attending the Event, you further acknowledge and understand the risks inherent with travel and interactions with other persons at this time during the Covid-19 pandemic and agree that your attendance at the Event, including all related travel, is undertaken at your own risk, and Zimmer Biomet shall have no responsibility for any injury, disease or other loss you may incur for reasons wholly or substantially related to Covid-19.

 

By registering for this Event you consent to Zimmer Biomet’s collection of your personal information for the purpose of this Event including contacting you for this Event and other educational activities and you agree to Zimmer Biomet handling, using and disclosing your personal information in accordance with Zimmer Biomet’s Privacy Policy accessible at https://www.zimmerbiomet.com/anz/privacy-policy.html. You can withdraw this consent at any time on giving reasonable notice to us. Please refer to Zimmer Biomet’s Privacy Policy for more details.

 

By attending the Event you consent to Zimmer Biomet capturing and recording your image and voice separately or together (collectively, the Image and Audio Material), and to replay, perform, display, reproduce, distribute, broadcast, relay or rebroadcast, the Image and Audio Material in connection with any aspect of Zimmer Biomet’s business in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and codes of practice. This authorization extends to any recording or distribution media (including without limitation videotape, videodisc , in any magnetic, electronic or digital format of any static, streaming or moving images), any means of transmission including telephonically, via any analogue or digital media, or via any website designated by a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) controlled by Zimmer Biomet or its subsidiary and affiliated companies, or through a third party service consultant engaged by Zimmer Biomet for these purposes.
