First MN5G-hosted Military 5G Conference: Awareness in Focus
Invitation
Italy, Spain and Türkiye, as participants in the recently established Multinational Collaboration on 5G project (MN5G), and NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA), are pleased to invite representatives from governmental, industrial and not-for-profit organizations from NATO member countries involved in military applications of 5G technologies to the Military 5G Conference. The theme of this first edition is “Awareness in Focus”.
Event Overview
The conference is aimed at facilitating mutual awareness between NATO Nations and their industry on relevant programmes, initiatives and concepts on military use of 5G. This first conference will focus on national and multilateral initiatives and efforts, but will also address aspects such as concepts and implementations, standardization efforts, use cases, capabilities and products, and enabling aspects.
The event will feature a curated mix of keynote addresses, interactive briefs and panels with Q&A, track sessions on three main topic areas, and networking opportunities.
MN5G Nations also want to use the conference as a catalyst of a wider community of interest on Military use of 5G and as inputs to the development of a long-term Programme of Work for MN5G aligned and coordinated with other national and NATO initiatives and programmes.
The conference will take place on 12 May 2025 from 13:00 to 17:00 and on 13 May from 8:30 to 17:00 at IFEMA MADRID - North Entrance, in Madrid, Spain collocated with FEINDEF Exhibition.

Audience Requirements
This event is designed for representatives for programme leads, technical leads and experts from governmental, industrial and academic organizations from NATO member countries only.
MN5G and NCIA reserve the right to decline applications based on NATO security protocol, venue availability and audience requirements.

If you are interested in participating as a speaker, you can submit your application through our Call for Speakers page until 21 April 2025.
This conference will be held at NATO UNCLASSIFIED level. Only individuals from the 32 NATO member countries will be admitted.
