Join IZA's Zinc College 2026! This 5-day international management program offers specialized knowledge, leadership development, networking and practical application tailored to the unique demands and opportunities of the zinc industry. Topics discussed include  exploration, mining and metal production, recycling, zinc concentrate and metal marketing, LME trading, applications and markets, risk management, environment, regulatory and sustainability. 

Zinc College is targeted at managers from all areas of zinc and zinc-using industries – whether seasoned professionals or new to the industry; traders and others with a strong interest in zinc.  

Zinc College speakers are senior executives from IZA member companies and experts from public and private organizations.

Zinc College is organized every two years by the International Zinc Association in partnership with a local member company. Nexa Resources is the partner of Zinc College 2026.

Fees include tuition, course materials, zinc smelter tour, lunches, breaks and most dinners.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Cancellations must be made in writing. Refund deadline is May 17, 2026. Cancellations made after May 17 are non-refundable. All refunds are subject to a US$ 100 processing fee and will not be processed until after the conference.

Substitutions are permitted at all times.
Hotel cancellations must be made directly with the hotel.

The Hilton Lima Miraflores is a 5-star hotel located in the heart of Miraflores, a residential and upscale district of Lima featuring hotels, restaurants, entertainment, shopping and parks to name but a few. The hotel has more than 200 rooms, a restaurant, bar, rooftop terrace, jacuzzi, an infinity pool and onsite parking.

VISA INFORMATION

Many foreign nationals can travel to Peru on their passport without a visa. The passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of entry into Peru. Citizens of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Ecuador, Colombia, Bolivia and Chile may enter the country with their national identity document.

Upon request IZA provides invitation letters to registered participants in support of their visa application.

How to get there

Jorge Chavez International Airport (LIM) is 11 miles (18 km) away from the hotel. It takes about 20-40 minutes by car depending on traffic.

Information on trusted airport transfer will be provided closer to the event.
