The 2024 conference theme, 'Bridging Research Frontiers,' encouraged participants to explore new connections and partnerships for discovering creative solutions and share transformative ideas. The conference invited tourism researchers to broaden their professional connections and consider diverse perspectives on key issues, including sustainable tourism, the impacts of disruptive technologies, and non-traditional or unique career paths in tourism research. The theme highlighted the vital role of partnerships among various stakeholders in tourism, including academics, students, industry practitioners, and government entities.
