Mystic Farm & Distillery

Tour the Triangle’s only farm distillery. Our winning tour has been featured in the New York Times! Explore how we create handmade small batch bourbon from the ground up. See the production process first-hand from the grain fields to the bottling line, and taste the grains, aging spirits and finished products.
Pull the bung on a barrel of aging Heart of Mystic Bourbon and learn the changes that occur as the spirit matures. Savor the highest quality spirits at our tasting bar, and learn about our special releases. Relax on our covered porch within sight of our fields and ponds, and take a walking tour of the farm.
Our intimate tours provide an opportunity to understand details of the distilling and aging process. We also include a cocktail for each participant and tastings of ALL of our spirits including limited release bourbons and products not yet released to the public.

As the United States’ headquarters for Siemens’ Electrification and Automation (EA) business, this 272,000-square-foot facility—operational since the early 1980s and home to nearly 1,000 employees—showcases our comprehensive portfolio of power distribution, automation, and control products and services. Learn how we modernize infrastructure, improve reliability, and accelerate the transition to more resilient, sustainable, and intelligent energy systems.
The Siemens Wendell Plant highlights best-in-class reliability and maintenance practices, bringing the energy transformation to life. You’ll experience hands-on demonstrations led by our field services, operations, and building professionals. Discover innovations in resilient electrical infrastructure and sustainable manufacturing, including how the plant utilizes advanced asset management strategies. The program includes a factory tour, hands-on demonstrations of low- and medium-voltage power equipment, and an interactive discussion of our power equipment reliability assessment tool.
You’ll also tour our newly commissioned 1.25 MW AC microgrid, built with Siemens technologies such as our microgrid controller, fire protection solutions, low-voltage switchboards, solar string inverters, and protection relays—all seamlessly integrated through Siemens’ building management system and cloud analytics. This experience offers a firsthand look at the future of energy, highlighting Siemens’ commitment to innovation and sustainability.
