The National Academy of Medicine will hold its 56th annual meeting in person from Saturday through Monday  October 17-19, 2026.  Saturday we will be welcoming the Class of 2025.  Sunday in-person events are open to members only.   Monday’s symposium on Transformation & Innovation in Chronic Diseases is open to public and includes: 

• Keynote address by Drew Altman, Ph.D., President and CEO, KFF
• Panel 1:  Developmental Impacts and Risk throughout the Life Course 
• Panel 2:  Prevention of Chronic Disease
• Panel 3: Transformative Treatment and Management of Chronic Disease
• President's Forum

The scientific program will be followed by the President's Forum and the closing reception. 

Public registration for the meeting will open on September 1.
 
NOTE:

• Online registration for in-person attendance closes on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.  Walk-in registration will be available.
• Registration for virtual attendance will be available until noon on Monday, October 19, 2026.
• Last day to cancel in order to receive refund is September 30.
