DESCRIPTION:

This presentation will focus on the individual accreditation standards and will provide practical advice and examples for creating the Self-Study Report and hosting the Site Visit. Presenters will provide recommendations on how to avoid common mistakes and citations and highlight awards and follow-up reports.

OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of this workshop, the participants should be able to:

1. Recognize the rationale of each standard and how it impacts program accreditation.

2. Review frequently cited Standards, identifying common areas of non-compliance and best practices for adherence.

3. Identify proactive strategies and resources available to comply with the 2024 NAACLS Standards.

ASCLS P.A.C.E./ASCP CREDIT INFORMATION

ASCLS P.A.C.E. and ASCP approve NAACLS as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences. This workshop is an intermediate level program. The following contact hours will be awarded at the workshop: ASCLS P.A.C.E. = 7; ASCP = 7.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

This workshop is separate from the ASCP Annual Meeting. Registration and payment can only be done through NAACLS.

NAACLS can only accept 110 in-person registrations. Virtual registration space is unlimited.

NAACLS does not accept checks for payment or send invoices. Credit card payments only are accepted.

Early bird registration deadline is 10/20/25. Final registration deadline is 11/10/25.
