IASA is excited to launch the FY27 cohort of Pathway to the Superintendency: Foundations in Leadership and Vision—a dynamic entry point in our superintendent development pathway. This experience is designed for building-level and central office leaders who are ready to take the next step toward district leadership.
This high-impact hybrid course equips aspiring superintendents with the core competencies, strategic mindset, and leadership clarity needed to lead in today’s evolving educational landscape. Grounded in the School Leader Paradigm, participants will strengthen their ability to craft a compelling vision, lead with an equity-centered lens, and build the resilience required for sustained leadership.
Through a continuous cycle of inquiry, reflection, and application, participants will actively engage in learning that connects directly to the real challenges and opportunities of the superintendency.
Program Experience Includes:
- Four interactive virtual learning sessions
- Two individualized mentoring sessions with experienced leaders
- One in-person, immersive workshop at the IASA Annual Conference
Professional Development hours will be awarded for each session attended.
If you’re ready to expand your leadership impact and intentionally prepare for the superintendency, we encourage you to apply.
