Booking Workshops & Lectures
A wide variety of workshops and lectures await you! Workshops include a variety of techniques and are 3 or 6 hours. Rose Allen's series of workshops are each an hour long
Lectures are an hour long unless otherwise stated. This year, we paired the Fashion Sustainable Show, with a lecture by Maday Delgado making it a two-hour event. This is considered a Special Event and the ticket price is $40 for members and $50 for non-members including a dessert buffet. Advance registration is needed. Advance registration is also required for the workshops but not for lectures.
Individual lecture tickets and multi-day lecture passes can be purchased during registration. At the show, you can also purchase individual tickets or a multi-day lecture pass.
Want to learn how to quilt? Check out Rose Allen's class and Jaymi Horne will also be teaching a beginner 3 hour Sunset Glow Quilt workshop on the Friday morning.
Some of the classrooms will have sewing machines provided! Not only will our sewing machine providers bring in and set up machines, they also provide a technician to assist you. We do understand that there may be a handful of people who are more comfortable using their own machine. Please bring your own extension cords and power strip, arrive early, and use an open table spot if possible to set up.
Tips
Print the schedule for a grid schedule of the workshops.
- To see more info about a workshop or lecture, click on the class title. A description, info about fees, a photo, a link to the supply list, and more will appear! You can 'close' by clicking on the "x." Watch for information about which workshops will have sewing machines supplied by our vendors.
- You can see the teachers introduce themselves, their class, and much more on the Thursday, January 8, 2026 - Minnesota Quilt Show Reveal on the Minnesota Quilters YouTube page.
- If you do NOT see class photos, click the refresh button ⟳ found on your browser navigation bar. You may need to clear your browser's cache and cookies. How you do this depends on your browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari). Check your settings.
- You can search for a workshop or use filters to narrow your options.
- If there is a kit, those fees are payable directly to the faculty member at the time of the workshop. You may want to bring cash/check.
- Minnesota Quilters will provide ironing stations. Please don't bring irons as we tend to blow fuses with too many irons.
- Print out the supply list so you have everything you need.
