From his early days igniting excitement directly in the classroom to his current role shaping district-wide technology infrastructure, Frank remains a steadfast champion of innovation. He understands the challenges of a rapidly evolving educational world and expertly bridges the gap between cutting-edge tools and practical, daily instruction. Dedicated to building a culture of technological fluency, Frank actively mentors fellow educators and leads the way toward a future where every classroom unlocks limitless possibilities.

Anna Fitzsimmons is an award-winning educator and the Coordinator of Technology Innovation for Belton ISD, where she specializes in scaling innovative technology across the district. A Google Certified Trainer with a Masters from Texas Tech in Personalized and Blended learning, Anna’s leadership is defined by her "AI in Action" approach. She is currently spearheading the integration of Gemini AI to streamline educator workflows and has been recognized with Tech & Learning’s Innovative Leader Award for her creative approach to professional development.

From her roots as an elementary teacher to her current role as a district leader, Anna is passionate about building a "culture of organic growth." She has successfully secured multiple technology grants to expand STEM and coding opportunities. A frequent presenter and mentor, Anna is dedicated to helping the next generation of educational leaders overcome imposter syndrome and find their purpose through innovation.

Testing in Focus: Leading for the NOW and the NEXT

Changing everything would be a wild miSSTep! While a new test is coming and there will be some significant changes…there are also some things that never change! We have learned a lot from previous state assessments that we can use to strategically focus and inform our work. Changes in the state assessment system are generally received with stress and uncertainty, so in this session, we will learn how to best support and lead the transition from STAAR to SST by exploring:

• what we know and still need to know about the next generation of state testing
• what students need for success with content and thinking
• lessons learned from STAAR
• practical ideas for engaging confident instructional and assessment leadership

Stephanie Camarillo-Zelenak, Ed.D., is an experienced educational consultant who works with campuses and districts in the areas of data analysis, campus improvement, high-quality instruction, teacher and leader development. Stephanie leads the learning initiatives for lead4ward and has committed the last 14 years to supporting her leadward team in growing teachers and leaders statewide. During her 30 years in education, she has also served as a teacher, campus administrator, and administrator at the Education Service Center at Region 19.

In direct support of new teachers, she has been an instructor for the University of Texas at El Paso and University of Phoenix. Dr. Zelenak is widely recognized for her passionate, high energy, and engaging presentation style as well as her dedication to the implementation and training of high quality, aligned curriculum and assessment; and data driven, meaningful, engaging, and responsive instruction.

Getting the Most out of EXCEL

For many, EXCEL mastery can be a somewhat elusive pursuit. It can be challenging to tell "just the right story" to data consumers that is clear and accurate. This session will start at the beginning, so even if your EXCEL skills are a bit rusty or non-existent, you will learn some new ideas and tricks. Advanced users will also come away with some things to try and share. Don't let others scare you with terms like "pivot tables" and "macros" - the veil of secrecy will be lifted!

Terry Faucheux specializes in analyzing accountability and assessment data to generate consumer-ready data displays. She facilitates data interpretation for school improvement purposes with district and campus leadership teams and models the statewide impact of policy changes in academic accountability.

She has worked in the public education field for 23 years, starting as a school volunteer in Round Rock, moving to Austin ISD as a data analyst and later Coordinator of Accountability, and returning to Round Rock ISD where she was the Associate Director of Academic Data Analysis before joining MoakCasey.
