
On behalf of the International Symposium on Embodied Cognition (ISEC) at Yale and the organizing committee of the 2025 Summer Research Camp on Embodied Cognition, we are delighted to welcome you to our two-week summer research program at Yale University.
The primary objective of this short-term research camp is to prepare elite students, researchers, and young scientists to become the next generation of leaders in global brain health maintenance.
Throughout the program, you will:
• Gain a 21st-century understanding of how the body and brain interact to influence mental and physical health.
• Learn about the principles of Embodied Cognition and Sports-Neuroscience.
• Develop the skills to conduct cognitive assessments of executive function and mental health.
• Acquire proficiency in administering the Automated Test of Embodied Cognition and how to analyze and interpret the results.
• Learn the fundamentals of Therapeutic Dance for Improving Cognition and Emotion (TDICE) and PEACE interventions.
• Prepare for future leadership roles in global brain health maintenance, with a focus on embracing diversity in humanity and culture.
During this Summer Research Camp and International Young Scholar Forum, you will have the opportunity to train in person with world-renowned scientists and professors at Yale University. You will visit campus and community-based PEACE research programs, experience therapeutic dance treatment and Sports Neuroscience training methods, explore computer-based cognitive assessments and brain training, and immerse yourself in the rich cultural diversity and humanistic environment at Yale University.
