Safety Measures at the Energy Efficiency Finance Forum
To minimize COVID-19 risks and protect attendees, we require that masks be worn while indoors, except when eating and drinking, and encourage all attendees to be vaccinated and boosted. Studies have found that vaccination helps protect against severe illness and, by lowering viral loads, reduce transmission.
Therefore, when attendees check in at the forum registration desk, we ask that everyone provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and boosted, with the final shot after November 1, 2021. For attendees without such documentation, we require an on-site COVID rapid test, which we will provide at on-site registration. These attendees should arrive at least 30 minutes early to receive and take the test. We know these tests are not 100% accurate, so if you fail one but have no symptoms, we will provide a second test to check the results of the first.
If you are not feeling well on the day of the conference, we kindly ask that you stay home.
How do we finance a rapid scaling of deep building retrofits and other energy-saving initiatives? The 14th Energy Efficiency Finance Forum will tackle this question, acknowledging the vital role that financing will play in dramatically reducing energy use and greenhouse gas emissions over the next 30 years.
During sessions, attendees will explore creative and innovative ways to finance projects that are essential for reducing energy waste, saving money, creating jobs, and meeting climate goals.
They will collaborate and network with other industry leaders. Attendees will learn about successful projects that are emerging across the United States that cover energy efficiency as a service and other pay-for-performance finance structures.
