CONFERENCE INFORMATION
Organized by the Massachusetts Adult Immunization Coalition (MAIC), this event is the largest adult immunization activity in the Commonwealth. The overall goal is to educate Massachusetts healthcare professionals on current and best practices for adult immunization. The MAIC conference offers an opportunity to receive the most updated information on routine adult immunization from leading experts in the field and network with immunization experts and colleagues.

OBJECTIVES
- Discuss why adult vaccination is important and current efforts to increase adult vaccination in Massachusetts
- Identify the latest Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and Massachusetts' recommendations for routine adult vaccinations
- Explain three strategies vaccine providers can use to instill patient confidence in vaccination
TARGET AUDIENCE
Healthcare professionals who provide, facilitate, and support the immunization of adults in Massachusetts including nurses, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, physicians, physician assistants, pharmacists, community health workers, public health workers, dental practitioners, and allied health professionals.
