Meet our Keynote Speaker
Elsa Cárdenas-Hagan, Ed.D., CCC/SLP, CDT, CALT- QI
Dr. Elsa Cárdenas-Hagan, is a nationally recognized expert in language, literacy, and Structured Literacy for English learners. With more than 25 years of research and professional experience, she has contributed to national literacy initiatives and developed evidence-based assessments and interventions for linguistically diverse students.
She currently serves as Chairperson of the National Joint Committee on Learning Disabilities and is the author of Literacy Foundations for English Learners: A Comprehensive Guide to Evidence-Based Instruction.
