Join us on November 17 for the Empty Bowls Fundraiser, an evening of community, reflection, and action in support of addressing food insecurity. Guests are invited to enjoy a simple meal of hearty soups, connect with fellow attendees, and select a handcrafted ceramic bowl to take home as a reminder of those facing hunger in our communities.
The evening will feature a welcome address highlighting the mission and impact of the Empty Bowls project, followed by a shared meal of minestrone and lentil soup provided by Chartwells. The program will conclude with the presentation of funds raised to our beneficiary partner, along with remarks from the organization's director about the difference these contributions make.
As a meaningful takeaway, you'll receive a handmade bowl with a resource card including information on local food insecurity issues, volunteer opportunities, and ways to stay involved. Through art, conversation, and community, Empty Bowls aims to raise both funds and awareness while inspiring action to help ensure everyone has access to nutritious food.
