Registration for United Church of Christ Church Building & Loan Fund’s (CB&LF) signature training event “Partners in Building” is now open through October 13, 2026. Attendees can purchase both one-day and two-day passes. The event will be held online on October 14th and 15th from 11:00 am to 3:40 pm each day. This year’s theme is “Make A Difference Where You Are!” which reflects that a church’s mission is more than solely providing a place of worship one morning a week and how churches can be impactful in rural, suburban and urban locations. Church leaders will have numerous opportunities to learn how they can broaden their impact and transform communities by fully using their church’s’ resources. This includes presentations, workshops and impact hubs led by experts on topics such as church assets hiding in plain sight, moving from scarcity to possibility, being church differently, community engagement, community collaboration, project management and mission, ministry and AI. CB&LF has hosted “Partners in Building” since 2007, and it is a church-led, faith-oriented event that provides comprehensive education about developing an impactful mission and ministry right where you are and real estate redevelopment from concept to completion. The conference transitioned to a virtual setting during the pandemic, allowing more churches to access its invaluable information and lessons. This event helps church leaders lay and ordained realize opportunities to broaden their impact and transform communities.
Each registrant will receive pertinent handouts, the ability to view the workshops up to 6 months post-PIB event, and all registrants will be entered into a random drawing to receive two of three books from award-winning authors.
You will receive Zoom details to join the virtual event via your registration confirmation email.
If you do not receive it by then, please contact Sheletta Mobley.
The event will be held from 11:00am until 3:40pm EST each day.
