Overview

Welcome to Adult Summer Housing 2026 at Stanford University.

Stanford offers summer housing for Stanford-affiliated guests ages 18 and older who are participating in approved on-campus programs. Adult Summer Housing provides convenient, on-campus accommodations with a variety of options to suit different preferences and budgets. A minimum stay of three (3) nights is required.

Housing is available across several campus locations and includes multiple accommodation types, such as dormitory-style rooms with shared bathrooms and apartment-style residences with private bedrooms and private bathrooms. These options offer comfortable, practical living arrangements throughout the summer.

How to Apply

Step 1: Complete your registration.
Step 2: Download, complete, sign, and upload the three required documents.
Step 3: After submitting the required documents and agreeing to the housing policies, select your preferred check-in and check-out dates and choose your residence.

Key Information:

Duration: Minimum stay of three (3) nights.
Meals: Not included; residents can explore the various dining options on and around campus.
No Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in any building or within 30 feet of any building entrance.
No Pets: No pets are allowed, even for a visit.
Dining Options: While meals are not included, there are several R&DE-operated cafés open during the summer, as well as other eateries located both on campus in the local Palo Alto community. Meal plans and Flex Dollars that can be used in R&DE-operated dining halls and cafés can be purchased in advance of arrival.
Parking: Participants are eligible to purchase residential parking permits to park close to their campus residence.

Below is a brief overview of the four housing options. Detailed descriptions and pricing will be provided after completing steps one and two of the registration of process.

Dormitory-Style Residence: June 19 – August 28, 2026.
Escondido Village Graduate Residence A (EVGR-A Apartments): June 19 – August 28, 2026.
Escondido Village Graduate Residence B (EVGR-B Apartments): June 19 – August 15, 2026.
Munger Residences - Private Bedroom/Bath in 2 or 4-Room Apt: June 19 – August 15, 2026.
Munger Residences - Studio or One-Bedroom Apt: June 19 – August 15, 2026.
