Webinar: Thursday August 5, 2021
- Are you across the new environment protection laws that have now come into effect in Victoria?
- Do you understand how the land use planning system now integrates with the environment protection framework?
- Are you aware of the changes regarding potentially contaminated land in the planning system?
Join our webinar on August 5, 2021 and hear from our expert speakers on this important topic from the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) and the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) Victoria.
This webinar will discuss the recently released VC203 amendment and how this amendment updates the Victorian Planning System to incorporate the EPA’s reformed environmental audit system (including the new Preliminary Risk Screen Assessment), as well as, how the amendment updates references to relevant legislation, guidelines, and new types of EPA approvals, work approvals, licences and notices.
Do you have questions for DELWP and EPA?
The changes follow a public consultation process involving many ALGA members (submissions and responses are available at Engage Victoria.) The webinar provides an opportunity for those who submitted, and others who are interested, to understand the final policy provisions and to discuss any relevant questions with DELWP and EPA.
This presentation will be held as a live webinar. A unique access link will be sent to registrants on the morning of the event.
If you are unable to attend on the day, the session will be recorded and available to view later.
