This activity is designed to provide the Orthopaedic Surgeon with the comfort level to care for upper extremity traumatic injuries. This includes refinement of appropriate indications for surgery, recognition of specific injury patterns, as well as mastery of approaches to best address the fracture. In addition, discussion of multiple treatment options including arthroplasty will allow the participant to better select and execute the right surgery for the right patient. A distinguished faculty will present their experience, techniques and pearls of wisdom regarding upper extremity traumatic injuries, supplemented by time in a lab for cadaveric dissection and placement of implants.
