Call for Poster Abstracts
Submit your poster abstract for the 71st Annual New Mexico Water Conference.
Submission deadline: October 23, 2026
Requirements:
- Poster Printing: Students are responsible for designing and printing their own posters prior to the conference.
- Poster Dimensions: Posters must be 3 feet × 4 feet (36 × 48 inches) to fit within the designated poster display boards.
- Abstract Topic: Submitted abstracts should feature research, projects, or innovative approaches related to water resources, water management, or related water issues.
Join researchers, faculty, students, water professionals, and community leaders at the 71st Annual New Mexico Water Conference. This year's theme, Investing in New Mexico's Water Future, highlights the research, partnerships, and solutions advancing water resources across the state.
We are seeking poster abstracts on topics related to water research and management relevant to New Mexico and the western United States.
We welcome poster abstract submissions from researchers, water professionals, faculty, students, and practitioners whose work supports New Mexico's water future.
The Poster Session and Student Poster Competition will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2026, 5:00 PM-6:30 PM at The Embassy Suites by Hilton in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 posters.
