Overview

This session brings together leading neurointerventional experts to share real-world experience and practical insights on the use of super-bore distal access technology in stroke intervention. Through case based discussions and clinical perspectives, faculty will explore how super large bore aspiration catheters  can complement traditional mechanical thrombectomy techniques, potentially enhancing procedural efficiency and expanding treatment options across a broad range of clinical scenarios

Learning Objectives

  •  Review the scientific rationale for aspiration thrombectomy and the evolving role of super large-bore  access in contemporary stroke intervention.
  •  Evaluate patient, occlusion and anatomical characteristics to support selection of the most  appropriate treatment strategy for each clinical scenario.
  • Discuss procedural workflow considerations, from access to clot retrieval, to optimize efficiency and  procedural outcomes.
  •  Explore navigation techniques and practical approaches that facilit at e dist al access, maximize  aspiration performance, and support successful revascularization in challenging anatomies.
