Summary

The seventh annual Space Mission Challenges for Information Technology/ Space Computing Conference (SMC-IT/SCC) is a combined international conference sponsored by the IEEE. The conference includes a gathering of system and software engineers, scientists, and other practitioners with the objective of advancing information technology (IT) for space missions. The conference will address all aspects of the space mission, flight systems, ground systems, science data processing, engineering and development tools, operations, telecommunications, and other technologies. The Classified Workshop associated with the SMC-IT/SC Joint Conference allows for attendees to hear presentations, panels, and participate in working group sessions a classified setting. Classified Workshop attendees do not need to register for the SMC-IT/SC Joint Conference to attend this workshop. The Classified Workshop is scheduled for the Friday after the Joint Conference to allow SMC-IT/SCC attendees to participate in the entire general meeting without missing any SMC-IT/SCC sessions.

Where is the conference located?

To accommodate participants with travel restrictions, the classified workshop will be hybrid. Participants can attend in-person or remote via VTC/dial-in. In person locations include:

Who should attend this conference?

Participants from USG Agencies/FFRDCs, Contractors, Vendors, and UARCs/Academia who are US Citizens and possess a TS/SCI clearance are all welcome to register for the Classified Workshop. The classified session is an Aerospace and IEEE Co-Sponsored event.

The SMC-IT/SCC classified workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to enhance technical excellence and innovation, while leading from the front in coordination and collaboration with the government and the intelligence community on emerging technologies impacting current and future space and ground systems. This workshop will also help to facilitate collaboration and coordination to help drive solutions for ever-increasing mission needs and understanding of technical challenges associated with space and counterspace; and exploring current and future opportunities for leveraging commercial space partnerships.
