President's Welcome - MSCHE 2023 Annual Conference

As President of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), I am thrilled to extend an invitation for you to join us at our 2023 Annual Conference. This year’s conference is sure to be an exceptional experience as we gather with nearly 1,400 higher education professionals from across our membership and community.

This year’s conference theme is Setting the Standard: Transformation through Accreditation. We are proud of the ways we collaboratively continue to set the standard for excellence. Once again this year, we look forward to celebrating the work of our student scholars along with our institutions and Commission, which includes the release of the Standards for Accreditation and Requirements of Affiliation (Fourteenth Edition).

This three-day event offers impressive plenary sessions, 30+ concurrent sessions, presentations during breakfast for presidents, provosts, and accreditation liaison officers (ALOs), student poster sessions, networking opportunities, an exhibit hall, as well as pre-conference workshops as a launch to the Conference. I want to draw your attention to a new, exciting opportunity this year where our institution’s chief executive officers will join Commissioners and staff for a networking lunch. You will also not want to miss the pre-conference workshops featuring a variety of important topics in the afternoon of December 4, 2023.
