Breaking the Silence: Bullying Prevention and Suicide Intervention for School Professionals

Every school has the opportunity to move beyond reacting to crises and instead build a culture where students feel safe, connected, and empowered to speak up. This session explores today’s most pressing school safety issues—including physical safety, bullying, cyberbullying, suicide prevention, digital threat assessment, social media, and concerning student behaviors—through the lens of prevention, early intervention, and collaboration. Designed for administrators, mental health professionals, teachers, FRYSC coordinators, School Resource Officers (SROs), and other education professionals, participants will gain practical strategies to identify warning signs, strengthen multidisciplinary partnerships, and create systems that support both safety and student well-being. During the event, there will be breakout sessions for you to select what best meets your role. We have many guest speakers throughout the day.
