This APAC training course is kindly hosted by the Korea Accreditation Board (KAB).
The 3-day training course is on the use of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 Conformity assessment — Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems Part 1: Requirements, ISO/IEC 17021-2 EMS and ISO/IEC 17021-3 QMS, to accredit EMS and QMS certification bodies. The course will be using the updated editions of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
The facilitators will provide insights on how this type of accreditation is conducted. Participants will be encouraged to share their experiences and ask questions.
Attendees are expected to be APAC Evaluators and APAC Member personnel (assessors, managers, accreditation scheme developers) that are either undertaking accreditation of EMS or QMS certification or are considering developing this type of accreditation scheme.
There is no event registration fee and refreshments breaks and lunch will be provided free of charge on the days of the event. All travel, accommodation, other meals, per diems, visa fees, travel and health insurance costs, etc. must be paid directly by the attendees or by their accreditation bodies. APAC does not provide funding for attendees to attend this event, unless you are an APAC EMS or QMS Evaluator that will also attend the APAC Evaluator EMS and QMS Workshop on 26-27 November 2026 (see below).
Please register using the link below. To complete the registration process attendees must upload evidence (e.g. letter, copy of email, etc.) that an APAC Member in their economy has approved their attendance at this APAC event.
Given the high number of evaluators that may wish to attend this workshop, only one (1) registration per APAC Member will be accepted until further notice. The person that attends this training is expected to share their knowledge and workshop materials with other relevant personnel from their accreditation body when they return from the workshop. The preference is to prioritise the registration of APAC Evaluators in the first instance. Please register as soon as possible. Registrations close on 2 October 2026.
Please note immediately after this 3-day training is a 2-day APAC EMS and QMS Evaluator Workshop at the same venue. This workshop is only for APAC EMS and QMS Evaluators. A separate registration is required for the workshop using the separate registration website.
