Join Dr. Yazdani, President of the Canadian Institute for Safety, Wellness & Performance (CISWP), as he explores the innovative strategic partnership between the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) and CISWP, and how research, emerging technologies, and data-driven insights are helping to transform workplace health and safety.
Through the use of advanced technologies, wearable sensors, exposure data, and sophisticated analytics, this collaboration is providing a deeper understanding of the relationship between workers, their capabilities, and the demands of their jobs. Dr. Yazdani will highlight key initiatives, including DOSE, MOSAIC, and Safe WorkSITE, which are capturing objective, real-world data on physical and cognitive demands, workplace environments, and occupational exposures. These insights are helping to inform evidence-based approaches to injury prevention, workplace safety, and improved worker outcomes.
The session will also explore how this successful Ontario-based partnership is expanding into Saskatchewan through collaboration with WCB Saskatchewan and WorkSafe Saskatchewan, opening the door to new opportunities for cross-jurisdictional knowledge sharing, innovation, and the development of data-driven occupational health and safety solutions across Canada.
The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session moderated by AWCBC CEO Janet MacEachern, providing participants with an opportunity to ask questions and gain further insights into the initiatives and partnerships discussed.
