Event Information
The Tribal Clean Energy Finance Forum is a timely and strategic gathering of Tribal leaders, investors, lenders, and clean energy stakeholders. Designed to be highly interactive and solutions-driven, the Forum will focus on building equitable Tribal partnerships that align both purpose and profit.
With federal funding for clean energy largely rescinded, this convening will provide just-in-time insights and a platform to explore strategies for successfully financing Tribal clean energy initiatives. While federal funding uncertainty presents challenges, an abundance of clean energy capital remains available through other sources—including private investment, philanthropic funding, tax incentives, and impact finance. The Forum will spotlight these opportunities, ensuring Tribes can access the resources they need to advance their clean energy goals as a means to enhance economic resilience and climate change preparedness while strengthening Tribal sovereignty.
Together, participants will navigate pathways to accelerate clean energy development on Tribal lands, leveraging diverse funding streams and building strong, equitable partnerships to achieve long-term success with clean energy development.
Held in partnership with NAFOA (Native American Finance Officers Association), the Forum immediately follows NAFOA's 44th Annual Conference at the same venue, allowing attendees to comprehensively address both economic sovereignty and clean energy development in a single trip to Reno.
