About the Conference
The practice of cardiology is constantly evolving with new advancements in diagnostics, treatments, and interventions. In our discussions, we not only introduce the latest data and therapies but also explore the practical challenges of applying these innovations in clinical practice. By involving physicians, nurses, pharmacists, advanced practice providers, social workers, registered dietitians and other allied health professionals, we take a multidisciplinary approach to treating cardiac diseases and achieving optimal patient outcomes. This collaborative effort ensures that we address the complexities of modern cardiology comprehensively, aiming to improve patient care through shared knowledge and interdisciplinary teamwork.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Summarize the latest ACC/AHA guideline updates on the management of acute coronary syndrome, hypertension and lipid disorders.
- Evaluate the cardiovascular benefits of anti-obesity therapies, including GLP-1 receptor agonists, beyond weight loss.
- Recognize the emerging role of artificial intelligence applications in echocardiography to enhance diagnostic accuracy and predictive care.
- Apply contemporary strategies in the management of tricuspid valve disease within interventional cardiology.
- Recognize and manage ICI Myocarditis
- Discuss current and emerging therapies for cardiac amyloidosis, including transthyretin stabilizers and gene-silencing agents.
