Course Description
Implant dentistry has never been more accessible to the general dentist. With today’s digital technology, much of what you need to plan, place, and restore implants may already be in your office. This CE course will show general dentists how to maximize their CEREC investment and incorporate implant dentistry into their existing digital workflow. From treatment planning and guided surgery to the final restoration, you’ll see how digital technology can simplify the process, improve predictability, and allow you to maintain greater control over patient care. Not ready to place implants? You don’t have to be. Learn how to use the same technology to efficiently restore implants placed by a specialist and bring more of the restorative process in-house. For dentists interested in expanding into implant placement, we’ll demonstrate how digital planning and surgically guided techniques can provide a predictable pathway from diagnosis through final restoration. For many CEREC practices, implant dentistry represents one of the greatest opportunities to maximize the return on technology they already own. • Efficiently restore implants placed by a specialist without having to perform the surgical phase.
• Understand when to select screw-retained versus cement-retained restorations.
• Apply practical guidelines for implant crown, abutment, and restorative material selection.
• Reduce unnecessary laboratory steps and create a more efficient digital implant workflow.
• Identify opportunities to increase the ROI of existing CEREC technology by expanding implant services within the practice.
