Exhibiting and participating at the inaugural AOPA Aviation Career Expo reflects a strong commitment not only to growing the aviation workforce, but to making it more diverse, inclusive, and representative of the communities it serves. 

As the industry works to meet rising demand for pilots, technicians, and aviation professionals, AOPA is leading the charge with initiatives like the AOPA Aviation High School STEM Curriculum.  This curriculum is playing a critical role in expanding access by introducing students from a wide range of backgrounds to aviation career pathways earlier than ever before.  62% of high school graduates that participated in our curriculum go on to become pilots, 24% of them being women and 11% being a person of color.  

Building on the strong foundation created by this initiative, the AOPA Aviation Career Expo brings together the next tier of aspiring aviation professionals, current students, post‑graduates, and career-changing adults prepared to enter or advance within the workforce.
